All work is done within 24 hours after receiving your laptop. We guarantee the quality of our work by a lifetime warranty, if you break your DC power jack ever again we will repair it at no extra charge. Any rules we should be aware of? Yes, the first one is if you don't include your AC Power Adapter with the laptop you won't get any warranty or support from us. Second rule is badly packaged laptops will be sent back to the owner without being worked on. Make sure to wrap your laptop in at least 2-3 inches of bubble wrap, and put it in the box with plenty of cushion or fluffy stuff. Please note: free boxes provided by United States Postal Service provide inadequate protection for your laptop.

Are there any extra charges? There is no extra hidden fees or charges. If we don't fix your laptop you don't pay anything, not even the shipping back to you.

Turn around times? All laptops received by Fedex, or US Postal Service are fixed and sent back the same day as we receive your laptop. Because UPS delivers packages late in the day, all laptops received by UPS are out of here the next day. We provide the fastest turn around time in the industry, there isn't a company out there that can match us.

Our company and our clients receive many laptops with screens / monitors damaged during the shipment. Bad packaging is the ONLY reason why that happens. It does not matter if it breaks on the way to us or on the way back to you. We use your packaging and your packaging material to ship the laptop back. Please don’t complain if you get a laptop back with a broken or non working screen because you haven’t provided enough packaging. So it wouldn’t come as a surprise it does not matter how much you insure your laptop for, the broken screen on the laptop sent for repair is not covered by any insurance (UPS, USPS, or FedEx), and there is no way you will get any money for a broken screen. Flat rate boxes provided by USPS are the number one reason why the screen gets broken. Please use a ton of bubble around your laptop. No bubble or not enough bubble wrap means a broken screen. Insurance only covers if the package will disappear somewhere in transition from point A to point B, that NEVER happened in the last eight years of our company’s operation. If the laptop will get delivered to your door steps and somebody would take it from your doorsteps then insurance does not cover that either. Please do not put AC power adapter / power brick on top of the screen when shipping the laptop to us, put the power adapter to the side of the laptop. The point is please package your laptop VERY WELL.

Warranty? We provide a lifetime warranty on all DC jacks that we replace. If you will ever break your jack again, we will replace it at no charge. We will only replace it one more time. You are covered by the warranty for as long as you are using a factory AC power adapter, if you use any universal power adapters the warranty is void. That is the reason we ask everyone to send a factory power adapter with your laptop so that we could fix the plug on it if it is faulty, there is no charge for it. We are the only power jack repair business that offers a lifetime warranty on all DC jack replacements that we do. We do not give any warranty for the DC plug (tip of your ac adapter that goes bad) replacement since we do it for free as a courtesy.

Do you have all parts in stock? We have multiple quantities of more than 50 different types of DC jacks in stock at all times. Within the last year of operation there wasn't a single case where we would not have a jack for any of the laptops that we have serviced. The rule is simple, if we don't have a jack for your laptop, nobody else has it either.

How much is the shipping usually? To send a laptop UPS it is usually about $6.50-$15. If you ship your laptop to us we will ship the laptop back to you at our expense via UPS If you need a laptop ASAP you can prepay the overnight shipping back to you.

How long does it take to replace a DC power jack on my system? Average DC jack replacement job lasts about 3-4 hours. All work is done the same day since we have all of the dc jacks in stock.

Do you repair or do you replace the power jack? We only replace power jacks, it is a more time consuming process than simply repairing a DC power jack but in a long run we don't have to deal with any warranty work..

Do you need a password to get into my system? No, we do not need any of your passwords

Do you need my hard drive? We don't need your hard drive. We encourage everyone to keep the hard drive home.

Do I need to send an AC adapter? Yes, to test out your system we would prefer to have your AC DC power adapter, however if you are missing an AC DC adapter we still can work on it and test out your computer using our adapters. If your power plug adapter is broken, we will attempt to fix it or replace it at no extra charge.

Are you liable for anything that will happen with my laptop? Not at all, replacing a dc jack on your laptop is extremely time consuming process. It usually takes about 2 hours just to get the old jack out of your motherboard without damaging the board or the traces for your DC Jacks

What is the best way to pack a laptop for shipment? Put at least two to three inches of a bubble wrap around it, put it in the box, put an AC DC adapter near by (not on top of the screen), write out a check made out to Applicasoft (or you would be able to pay for it later by credit card through google checkout or Paypal), . As soon as we get it we will work on it and send it back to you (usually within 24 hours).
